Kruegermann Sauerkraut is made the old fashion way using only three ingredients: cabbage, salt and water. It is made of a type of "Jumbo" cabbage, which is very heavy, and of a white variety coming from Southern California. They are cleaned, cut and compacted in small batches that allow the fermentation to occur naturally. No bleaching agents are added to artificially whiten the cabbage. Unlike other sauerkraut that has added vinegar, the Kruegermann Sauerkraut is naturally fermented with a mild fresh flavor and do not need to be rinsed. |
