Is it safe to ship Perishable Products?

All fresh, frozen and other temperature-sensitive products are carefully packaged and sealed to ensure optimum quality. We use a fully insulated bag and we additionally surround the products with ice packs to minimize temperature escalation during delivery. To further protect the products, we place the bag or container in a double-strength corrugated carton filled with foam peanuts. If you plan a road trip or a picnic in the near future, please keep in mind that our insulated bags and ice packs are reusable.

What is Le Village's Product Guarantee?

To ensure quality control, all domestic and imported products offered on our website are directly shipped from our fulfillment center. They are carefully stored in reefers, freezers or temperature controlled chambers before being straightly released to FedEx for prompt delivery to your doorsteps. We use state-of-the-art packaging (see above for details), and we guarantee that every product you order from Le Village will arrive in superb condition. In the event of spoilage or damage due to a shipping delay or carrier's mishandling, we will issue your choice of a full refund or a replacement.

How do I search for Products?

If you are looking for a specific product, you may use our search engine (located on the top right of most pages) that will return all the possible matches for you to view. Simply enter in the "Product Search" field the full name of the product or, if you are unsure of the spelling, type its first three letters, and click the "Search" button. Alternatively, our "Advanced Search" engine allows you to filter products by categories, brands, price ranges, origins and attributes.

What form of payment can I use?

Le Village welcomes all major credit cards such as American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa. We also accept payment through Paypal.

Can I place an order off-line?

You can place your order by calling us Toll Free at 1-888-873-7194 Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.

Do you offer a gift-wrapping service?

We offer an elegant wrapping service for your orders sent as a gift. The service incurs a $1.50 charge per item added to your shopping basket, and can be requested during the checkout process.

How can I redeem a Le Village Gift Certificate?

Just enter your valid gift certificate number in the appropriate field at checkout. The face value of your gift certificate will then show as a credit on your order summary page prior to the finalization of your order. Le Village's gift certificates are only honored for Product(s) other than gift certificates. Your gift certificate can be partially redeemed, and any unused portion of its face value will show as a credit to your account. If your order's total is greater than the face value of your Gift Certificate, the difference will be charged to your Credit Card.

How can I enter a Promotional Code?

Just enter your valid promotional code number in the appropriate field at checkout. Your credit or discount will then show on your order summary page prior to the finalization of your order.

Is my personal information safe?

When you choose to give Le Village personal and sensitive information over the Internet, Le Village protects such information both online and off-line. Le Village offers the use of its own secure server, and industry-standard software to safeguard the confidentiality of your transmissions, such as firewalls and SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology.

Le Village's secure server is kept locked in a protected data center, and Le Village's secure server software encrypts all information you input before it is sent to Le Village. These are the same technologies that reputable web sites use to safeguard credits card and other personal information.

What is your Return Policy?

We pride ourselves on offering the highest quality products. If any portion of your order does not meet your expectations, Le Village offers a 15-day return policy on all undiscounted Products except perishable products, home & beauty products and gift certificates. To expedite the refund process, and obtain return instructions, you should call our Customer Care Department at 1-888-873-7194 Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (PST). Upon return and receipt of the product(s), Le Village will issue a credit to your credit card in an amount equal to the value of the product(s) plus sales tax if applicable. Shipping charges and surcharges, as well as special services are not refundable unless product(s) are damaged and/or defective. Books, Compact discs, and videotapes must be returned sealed and in original condition. Sealed product(s) must be returned sealed and in original condition and all components of a gift set must be returned. All purchases of products on sale, or subject to any promotion are final and cannot be returned.

At Le Village, we are committed to delivering outstanding products at the peak of freshness, and in a timely fashion. To meet your expectations, we have chosen FedEx as our main Shipping Carrier. Some remote areas may not be served by FedEx. In these instances, your order for products will be shipped using The United States Postal Service (USPS).

Do you ship to APO/FPO or International addresses?

We do not accept shipments to P.O. Boxes, or to APO/FPO addresses. Also, due to import regulations in most countries, shipment of perishable food products may face customs clearance delay that will affect freshness and/or time delivery. As a result, we currently do not ship internationally.
